I did the photogallery tutorial using XML found here [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml\_flash\_photogallery.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_flash_photogallery.htm). After I was done I uploaded my .swf file, xml file, and photos to my host, and when I type in the URL to the .swf file everything works correctly.

[my photogallery](http://www.filelodge.com/files/room18/483258/gallery.swf)
[my XML document](http://www.filelodge.com/files/room18/483258/photogallery.xml)

However, when I try to embed the .swf file into my blog none of the photos or captions load into the movie. I tried testing it through a flash embedding generator because I thought maybe I needed to add the codes for active X for IE, but it still didn’t load any of my photos or captions

The only change I made to the actionscript from the tutorial was changing the xmlData.load line from images.xml to photogallery.xml, but thats it.

I’ve been trying to figure this out since last week with no luck and i’m all out of ideas. If anyone could help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate it.

Nevermind, I believe it’s not loading b/c of macromedia’s cross domain security policy concerning XML. This post can be deleted.
