# Photoshop Brushes

Hey, I was just wondering how to make my brush a “Square” instead of it being a circle. ☹

you can easily make your own square brush. Start a new document 45 x 45 (or what ever size) draw a square that covers the whole surface (if you like). Then press cntrl+A to select all. then go to edit\>\>\>define brush. Name it. Then it should be in your brushes pallete

Photoshop comes with a whole load of brushes, you just have to load them.

If you select the brush tool, then go to the menu bar along the top where you choose your brush shape and size and open that drop down. There’ll be a list of available brushes, and a button to the right with a black arrow in it. Click on that a pick Load Brushes. PS points you to the right place to load them, so get the lot and you’re away.

Plus a lot of site now offer free brush downloads too. 🙂
