# PHP and include\_path

HI  
I have problem configuring my scripts to work with cpanel.  
when I want to read a file from a lower directory I get an error message that says :

> PHP Warning: include(UserInterface.php) [[function.include](http://localhost/fight2survive_ftp/function.include)]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory  
> how can I solve this problem ?  
> for the root directory I have put this code :

```php
ini_set("include_path","connection:classes");
include("UserInterface.php");

```

and it works correctly but when I need to run a file from upper directory that need access to another location I get error !  
please help me
