# PHP and server isnt working

Im trying to get PHP 4.3.4 working on my windows xp pro pc, but when i go to [http://localhost/](http://localhost/) is displays a ‘page cannot be displayed’ error. I have tried using apache 2.0.4.8 and xitami servers, they both show the same error. Help me!

the [ricocheting.com](http://ricocheting.com) website seems usefull, but it still just doesnt work, maybe its a prob with windows?
