Is it possible to create a chat program with php, xml, and flash?

I was reading through the guest book tutorials hoping maybe i could make it using that.

Tried, but an having some problems…

Anybody help?

Any other suggestions other then xml and php?

I tried to use java to create a server… but I had some buffer reading issues… The client flash program recieves a message only after sending one…
