# Php email problem

Okay, I am trying to set my email info in my php.ini file to use the smtp services of another server on the network. Do I just put the ip address of that server? It doesnt seem to be working for me.

The server where the website is on is a windows2003 server. The problem is I dont have the cd to set the exchange server role. Is there another way to get smtp working on it? No it’s not a bootleg version :}

One way or another I need to be able to email with php and right now I can’t.
