# \[PHP\] posting updates

hi…this is my site im working on at the moment…

if you look down the the left side you’ll see the ‘updates’ box…basically what i need is just something really simple with a form just with a textarea and you write the updates one per line and just submit it into a .txt file and just call the contents of that to the ‘updates’ window…then when i want to post another update just wipe over the old one…i dont need to keep log or anything…is that very hard? could one of you guys point me in the right direction…thanks 🙂

i’d like the updates to appear like this :

**da.te.here**

- 2 Backgrounds Added
- Atreyu release new  
CD
- Links Updated

and thats about it…ok thanks 🙂
