# PHP Server w/ Apache: Help

I have been trying to install an Apache Server with PHP on my computer so i can teach myself some basic PHP, and i have been using the Kirupa tutorial to install it. This is the second time i have tried it. The tutorial works great (as in the apache server is running, i get the little feather with the green go button, and i get the apache startup page) up until the “Integrating PHP into Apache” part, where i replace and add things into the httpd document. Then when i restart it, it fails. I don’t know what’s wrong, or if i’m doing something wrong… i don’t think i misread anything on the tutorial… has anyone else had this problem, and if you have, how can i fix it?

I’m using Windows XP, by the way…
