Hi, my first post in this forum. I hope it will be pleasant.

I´m trying to get some simple text in a database to show up in a dynamic textfield in flash8.  
I have tried a couple of tutorials but they all seem to be directed to more advanced functions such as guestbooks and so on. What I need is just a simple text loaded from a database.

Actually what it is supposed to be is “todays special” on a resturants website i´m creating and as soon as I figure out how to load the text from the database I will start to figure out how to update that info, but thats another problem.

If someone could help me on this, it would be very nice.
