# \[php xml flash\] Problems regarding "Flashmatazz's" guestbook tutorial

Hello

Ive been working through Flashmatazzs guestbook tutorial on this site

And had a couple of small problems with it.

Everything works ok - but after posting a message it is supposed to then go back to the ‘reading’ screen and update with the message you just posted.

Instead it hangs with NULL in the wrote field. But if you reload the page - the message is updated as it should be.

Any ideas why? If you could have a look i would be v grateful

Got it figured - was simply the host i was using was playing up

I changed to this

[http://www.100webspace.com/](http://www.100webspace.com/)

Which has so much free stuff im suspicious. PHP my/sql, Pearl, Pop3, 100meg, 1 gig bandwith, ftp, e.t.c

So it might be worth you checking it out if you are having probs like me.
