# Picking a Processor - Help

Hi All,

I’m about to build a custom PC. Im on a **really** tight budget.  
I just need a bit of help on what processor to get.

A good \*\*Pentium D \*\***935 ( 3.20GHZ, 2X1 MB L2 CACHE, 800MHZ FSB)**  
or a decent \*\*Core 2 Duo \*\***E4300 ( 1.80GHZ, 2MB L2 CACHE, 800MHZ FSB**)

I would very much love to pick one from the Core 2 Duo E6000 series but i just cant. ☹
