Hi all, just a quick thought about pixel fonts. I designed my site using pixel fonts not knowing that the only size which they look crisp at when embedded in the file is 8 point (i used many at 6 point dynamic and because I had them installed they looked fine). Of course, this has given me a lot of grief in terms of choosing newer, smaller fonts to work with. But what I don’t understand is that HOW can they look crisp at 6 point if you have the fonts installed and then suddenly look so terrible? Is there no way to recreate this crisp text in smaller sizes? I have tried breaking the text apart then snapping vectors over the top and this looked much better than static text but still lost that beautiful crisp look. Any thoughts?
