# Placing dynamic createTextField horizontal?

Got a problem with placing my textfield horizontal.  
I need to get the width so I can get starting point Y.

This does’t work.

```auto

test = _root["navTxt"+counter].textWidth;				
trace ("width "+test);

```

also

```auto

test = _root["navTxt"+counter]._width;				
trace ("width "+test);

```

But when I try

```auto

test = _root["navTxt16"]._width;				
trace ("width "+test);

```

I can get the width
