# Placing dynamic / variable content onscreen via .xml?

I’m trying to place a series of graphical text boxes (they look like tooltips), alternately above & below a horizontal timeline, running from left to right across the screen. The idea is that each graphical text box is a library item, with the content loaded in via .xml, so there can be 3-10 units as required. I’m using CS3. Any suggestions?
