I am creating a set of cylinders, adding noise and other modifications to make them more lightening in their effect, I have the look to them I want, but I am trying to make them… “glow” or radiate like a stream of plasma. I want this radiated light to reflect in the glass tubing containing the plasma effect. I found a great tutorial using a series of small omni lights to do a lightsaber, and this was close to what I wanted, but I couldn’t seem to re-create the effect. Any ideas?
