# Play sound on mouse over - Imagemap (Soundboard)

Hi,

I’m new to this forum and new to Flash. I’m trying to make a soundboard and I have no success so far.

I have a background image, and I want to select (with lasso) some specific zones so that whenever you move the mouse over that zone, a sound will play. The sound will obviously stop as soon as the mouse will leave that specific zone.

So far, I have a locked layer for the background image. One layer for each zones. But I cannot use the lasso on the layers where I need to define the zone. I have to create a shape (rectangle for example) and then convert the rectangle to a symbol and add the sound to the over keyframe.
