# Playing a movie with Windows Media Plugin?

Hi,

I am hoping to find out how to play a video using windows media player within a webpage.

I want the user to click a link, on clicking the link the video will load into a new html page (or the current html page - I am not botherred) and start playing/buffering or whatever.

I looked over the forum, there are similar topics but nothing exact on how to do this - from what I gatherred it seems pretty simple?

I intend to do this without FP or DRMWVR if possible, so I would like the required html/javascript necessary if please.
