# Playing RTMP media (.flv video)

I am still on Flash MX so I don’t have FlashMX04. I know that with 04, you can use the media components that you utilise to set up .flv video. If I was to play progressive downloading, would that mean I would have to have a Communication server? Would I be able to download a .flv file from the server locally?
