The page consists of a kinda unique menu interface, with hint boxes to help you navigate… it may take some getting used to, but I wanted to make a site that encouraged exploration and play, rather than one that was strictly used to relay information.
The thing is mainly actionscripted, with PHP scripts doing a little data storing and retrieving and helping with the externally loaded images and descriptions… making for easy updates and expansion. Lots of random variation in the page display (e.g. the fold out thumbnail patterns).
If you’re bored, check out the digital/interactive design category. There are links to some fun actionscript- and Processing-based applets there. Also, don’t forget to draw on the wall, and check out the globe (the best part), which displays the geographically-interpreted IP addresses of all visitors since August 2005.
