# Please help a noob

ok so i am new to flash, even more new to action script. i have many questions,  
{1}SOLVED  
{2}SOLVED  
{3}how can i make something come towards me at a speed a little faster than mine. (like an enemy)  
{4}at the beginning, the ball will not go to the left or up, i made the speed progressive, so the longer you hold it the faster it goes.  
{5}how can i make it so that it changes directions more gradually. so if you are going up and you turn right, you curve right instead of a 90 degree angle. i cannot seem to do this.  
pretty much what i am trying to accomplish is this:

just the game, not the score, or the name or any of that fancy stuff, im just focusing on the ball first
