# Please Help! Emergency - really stipid question

hi, I need help please. I am trying to make a simple site linking a button from within a movie clip inside another movieclip (3 layers) to another scene, frame1. I have done exactly that on another site using the: on release command of \_root.gotoAndPlay(“scene”,1); And now it’s not working. I am able to link from a frame but not from a button! Makes absolutley no sense! PLESE HELP :jail:
