in this tutorial, kirupa teaches how to launch a popup window:

but…

it works only in the main swf movie. see my image:

“blah” is the button to launch the popup window. it works.

in this second image, we have the “blah-2” movie loaded from the main movie. the ‘blah-2’ button in this swf works only for the swf alone. when the movie is loaded from another movie, the button does NOT work.

somebody help, please… that’s all I need to finish a work.
