Hi everyone. I recently had an idea to add a “picture taking” feature to my game. I want to have an option for the player to click a camera icon, and it goes into “picture taking” mode, and when they hit a “snapshot” or “take picture” button it saves the image and stores it to view later. I’m having the hardest time finding a tutorial about this but I know it’s possible because I’ve played a bunch of games like this before. One was a “voyeur” game where you took secret pictures of girls (weird, I know), one was taking pictures of birds, etc…and in all of them you could view the pictures in a gallery afterwards. I see a lot of people saying it’s impossible because you can’t save anything from a flash document directly to a person’s computer, but I don’t think that’s the same thing.

My game isn’t centered around taking pictures, it’s more of an RPG/adventure type of game. I just thought it would be a nice touch if the player carried a camera and could snap pictures now and then to view later on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
