# Plot two more points on parabola

Still trying to figure out this parabola thing…

The storyboard from the client has 3 sliders which adjust the vertex and the two x-intercepts. I’ve got that working fine (see attached file at [http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=259641](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=259641) ), but the parabola needs to extend across the entire grid. I tried plotting two more points at the extreme x locations, but I can’t figure out what equation to use (or how to build it in AS) to find the y values for those x’s…

Anyone have any ideas on this??
