# Pop up window -\> fade parent page

Here’s what I’m trying to do:

It all works perfectly fine in Safari, but Firefox and Internet Explorer have problems. Internet Explorer blocks the pop up from appearing and firefox leaves some white space under the movie which I can’t get rid of.

Any ideas on how to get this working properly? I don’t mind if I need to take a completely different approach to this. Just what ever it takes to get it working and hopefully the solution is a simple one.

Also, the fade is done with a flash movie clip. If there’s another way to do this, then I am open to that as well.
