# Pop up window problem (more information)

i feel really stupid here but despite reading all the tutorials i cannot get the window to launch when i upload it to my isp despite using http… address?

here is the script

on (release) {  
//customize the window that gets opened

location = 0;

status = 0;  
menubar = 0;  
scrollbars = 1;  
resizable = 0;  
//sends data back to the function  
openWinCentre(address, target\_winName, width, height, toolbar, location, directories, status, menubar, scrollbars, resizable);  
}  
can anyone please help?

if the openWinCentre function is on the \_root timeline, you’re going to want to add a \_global infront of it (\_global.openWinCentre(addres… blah blah blah) and then you are going to want to add the \_global before the code that you posted also.

another thing to consider is that the name of the window - target\_winName - can not contain spaces. Try replacing your spaces with \_. Also try calling the function with \_root.
