So I finally got firewalled today. I’m running the Microsoft MN-700 router that also acts as a wireless router. The problem I’m having is the confusion of how to set up a port forwarding feature. I read a couple of places on how, but still need some help.

Here’s the DC++ help file on how-to.
[http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/faq/faq.php?display=faq&faqnr=11&catnr=2&prog=1&lang=en&onlynewfaq=1](http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/faq/faq.php?display=faq&faqnr=11&catnr=2&prog=1&lang=en&onlynewfaq=1)

Here’s [PortForward.com](http://PortForward.com)’s suggestion.

Ok, so I follow everthing and use the Application Triggered Port Forwarding. Should the trigger type and public type always be the same thing? Since I don’t have the choice to select both, I have to do them individually. What should I set my outbound port to? The one DC++(1412) tells me to? What about the inbound, the range? Any help would be appreciated.
