# Possible to have buttons in Mask?

I’m toying with an idea for a navigation bar/menu. I want to have the bar appear on screen with just one letter for each section (H for home, N for news etc) and have a slider that when moved over the letter reveals what is masked underneath (slider over H reveals the word Home) but then have the word be a button so it can be clicked to go to the Home section.
Does that make sense and would it work or am I not being clear enough or it just won’t work with a button in a mask??

I don’t know if masking a button would work… but one thing you could try (incase it doesn’t work) would be placing a movie clip inside of the button with the mask rollover.

Hmm, didn’t think of that. That would probably give me more options, I just about have the pieces all done and then I’ll play with the coding.
In other words, don’t be surprised when I’m back for more help.
