What post are you quoting, h88?? Anyway, that was a very simple tutorial. Basically, you have 3 textfields, you fill the first 2 with numbers, you press a button, the variables are sent to a PHP script that adds them and then returns them, and the 3rd textbox displays the result. I should probably redo that. Or maybe you can cover this in your tute, h88. Btw, are you gonna use loadVars or loadVariables? You might have to do both… :-\ ---

lost, let me guess, you took the marquee tool, highlighted what you needed, put it on a new layer, then faded the fill of the other ones? ---

Hey mdipi, the fade effect is simple, use the marquee tool to select your area… then go to Select/Inverse, this will select the outside of your current selection, create a new layer, fill with white, change the opacity of the white 🙂 ---

What about covering loadVariable method, do u mean for flash 5 users? i may do another extension later for flash 5 users, but right now am working on flash MX version! ---

Yeah, I meant loadvariables for Flash 5 users (David is gonna kill you if you don’t do that :P) but the loadVariables version is more important. Looking forward to reading that, man 🙂 ---
