# Powerbook RAM

My roommate has got a Powerbook and has one stick of 512 inside, I had a spare 256 laying around so I decided to give it to him. The 512 has the same specs as my 256 however, after he plugs it in, OS boots but randomly applications quit (crash?). Is there something special to the Mac?
