# Preload in background?

Here is my situation:

I have my main menu on three frames on the main timeline.

Im going to add an intro(external swf) and preloader for the intro in empty frames before the menu frames. Is it possible to preload the menu while the intro plays? I want to avoid loading the menu into another swf because I have references to \_root in the code of the menu swf. Any suggestions?
