# Preloader for beginners

i dont really understand how to write the code for a preloader from just looking at the preloader tutorials on this site. does anyone have an example of a VERY basic preloader…or can someone tell me step by step how to make one…i dont want one with any kind of animation or anything fancy i can do that later i just would like to know the technicalities of how it works…thanks
