# Preloader: Percentage doesn't show up!

I just made a preloader by following the Percentage Preloader With LoadBar tutorial on this site. I actually have two problems:  
[list=1]  
[_]The numbers showing the percentage complete don’t show up.  
[_]The bar doesn’t fill up all the way. It looks like it fills up about 75%, then the movie starts.
