# Preloader question

im building a flash site and i am having problem with preloading screen.

basically i put the preloader on frame 1, it is not a fancy one, its is just a “loading” text.

my problem is when im testing it on flash simulating on 56k and dsl connection. it does not imediately promt on frame 1. it only shows the 1st frame after 50% of the whole site has been loaded(the progress shown on the bandwith profiler).

i was wondering why does it stay on frame 0 instead of starting on frame 1 imediately.

any explanation, help on this one will be deeply appreciated.
