For this preloader - [http://www.theuprock.com/preloader.swf](http://www.theuprock.com/preloader.swf) - I want the U to gradually mask from 0% visible to 100% visible as the content is loaded, but I’m at a loss at to how to do this correctly. A large majority of the preloader tutorials and walkthroughs I have found online are ones that use the bytesloaded and prints that on-screen, and the animation is via a bar-grow animation, which is opposite of what I want to do…sort of.

Any suggestions? I plan to put a preload scene in each of my external SWF files that are being loaded, so that we can maintain some level of similarity between all the external files, but I also want to make sure that you definitely see this U-grow animation at least for a few seconds (I am sure that with the content on each of these sub-SWF’s that the loading time won’t be an issue, and you’ll be able to see each one).

Greatly appreciate the help.
