# Preloader starts at 30%

i have used several different flash preloader technique but i just cant seem to get over my this problem. My flash ALWAYS starts out blank the when the preloader starts , it is already at about 30%. I know it has something to do with my pictures and embedded fonts but everybody uses then and no one seems to have that problem. Is there a way i can get around that?? or maybe offset the preloader to actually start at 30% or something?

If it’s a small swf it will have loaded 30% by the time you get to see the preloader. It has to load your preloader too…

plus any movieclips with you choose to “export to first frame” (linkage settings) are loaded first

The flash is not small. So any suggestions on how do i get around this problem??

Also make sure your FPS is above the default.
