Ok, I’ve attempted doing preloading but it doesn’t seem to be working right or it might be the fact that I’m doing it locally and the 1meg file I’m trying to load isn’t enough. Can somebody post a simple fla of an example. I can figure it out from there. Thanks a billion. Oh and for all of you that have been giving me help, here is the partially finished project! [http://www.kernlearn.net/Personnel/](http://www.kernlearn.net/Personnel/).

P.S. this is what I would be using the preloader for.

Have you tried the tutorials on [Kirupa.com](http://Kirupa.com)? There are 3 or 4 preloader tutorials…

Got it. I guess my connection was just too fast before. I had to load a file over a meg in the fla to get it to actually show the loading screen and I was testing it through the net. Guess we just have a fast connection here.
