# Preloading external jpgs in streaming?

I just built a photogallery(for the web) and i have external jpgs that load one at time into a movie clip and the pictures are about 50/80k each.  
the problem is that this is an automatic gallery that run by itself  
and each picture is loaded every second so do i need a preloader and if the answer is yes how do i make a preload like that ?  
also should picture n.1 be already into the movieclip?
