# Preloading Help

Basically, I want to have a preloader for every “page” of my site. My plan is to create each page as a movieclip and then lay everything out in the main timeline. Is it possible to preload each movieclip/page. For example, say the first 5 frames on the main timeline is where I place the homepage movieclip. From there lets say I choose to go to my portfolio section placed on frames 10-15 that holds my portfolio movie clip. Essentially, I want to load the content of each movieclip and navigate through all of these movieclips/pages in the main timeline.

I found many preloaders that will preload the entire file, and other that ulitize multiple scenes. The preloaders that load the whole file work flawlessly. I tried using mulitple scenes with a preloader at the beginning of each, but I have trouble navigating between the scenes…the button will not link between the scenes. I’m hoping there’s a way to preload just a movieclip and not a whole scene or timeline.
