# Preloading PROBLEM

Hello, I recently tried one of the preload tutorials for flash mx found here at kirupa: [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm)

I followed the directions exactly but for some reason my preloader will not show the percentage loaded (the text box) The loadbar works, but the % loaded will not appear. I’ve tried to look for small mistakes, but it looks identical to the one on the site. ☹
