# Preloading!

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible that someone could direct me to a thread or a site that shows how to load data (images, text, swfs) while other sections of a site are being viewed? The main reason is that I have many images to load but I don’t want to make the user have to wait and allow the images to load on the fly…
Any ideas are totally welcome!

Hi. I’ve been working with this tutorial. I’m loading external SWFs instead of images. I FINALLY got it to work, but there’s still a problem: one of my SWFs needs to be at 130 on the x axis and the other one needs to be at 0 on the x axis! This doesn’t work because the SWFs don’t always load in the same MC…I think.
Any ideas?!?!
Also, can you apply a fade out with this tutorial, so when you click another button the current SWF fades out?

cool tutorial, thanks for the speedy reply… although i couldn’t find anything about loading images from an array/folder for example… any ideas on that?
