# Prevent Multiple MouseEvents

I made a very simple scrollBar using the MouseEvent.MOUSE\_DOWN event, which works fine. The problem is I have a few other obejcts that have MouseEvent.Mouse\_OVER events, and so if you are dragging the scroll bar, and then move it over one of the objects, the Mouse\_OVER event fires. Is there a way to prevent this?
