This piece says a new lawsuit claims Perplexity’s “Incognito Mode” still let chat data get shared with Google and Meta, with the bigger issue.

If “Incognito” still fires third-party trackers, the label is doing fiction rather than privacy, though the technical caveat is whether this was chat content itself or metadata wrapped around page events.
