# Problem converting an .fla to .gif format

I have created an animation in Flash and I have problems saving it as .gif. I know that if you go to File \> Publish Settings you can put a check mark in the .gif check box and then in the .gif tab select animated.

However, after I do all that it creates a static .gif image that doesn’t move. WHY??? Can anyone help me??? This is very urgent!
