# Problem Pixel Fonts

I have been having quite a lot of problem with Pixel Fonts in Flash MX. I have created the whole site and all the tect written in it is written with a pixel font. Now the problem I am facing is that I can’t decide which font setting to choose to make it look sharper. I have tried Device Font but that’s definetley wrong. I have set it to dynamic, it look sharper but the problem is that other users would not be able to see that fon’t because they don’t have it on their Computer. I also tried Embed Font Outlines but it still didn’t work. And I also tried to make the text static, this doesn’t work in movie clips or bittons or graphics, it appears blurry.

Please rEPLY about this since i am having a lot of Problem.

I am using the pixel font uni05\_53.  
I also use Fonts from Fonts For [Flash.com](http://Flash.com)

heres the deal, it sounds like you have pixel font thats nested inside of either a button or a mc, so heres what you need to do :

first make sure your font is at the intended size. i like planeta from FFF and its supposed to be at an 8, it looks like crap any other size. also make sure you dont have any effects like bold or italics applied.

second,  
go in as deep as you can in your symbols and adjust each text field, button, mc, etc… so that they are all on whole #s with no decimals.

pixel fonts can be fussy, but once you get it right it should look crystal clear…like in my footer.
