# Problem with VERTICAL thumbnail scroller

Hi,

I’ve adjusted the thumbnailscroller from the tutorial to one thats scrolls vertically… only one problem now : the xml gallery is loaded in a separate mc ( an external swf didn’t work for me for a few reasons , and that’s a pity because in an external swf it works , which is even weirder…) , it does everything it needs to do , except the starting position of the first thumbnail is way on top of the screen instead of right after the hit\_left marker…  
I can’t seem to find the answer to this issue …can anyone take a look?

PS : the stucture of the FLA is not tidy because it’s still in a testfase 😉  
the main\_mc contains all the elements , the events\_mc is the clip with the gallery and is called in frame 5 from the timeline of main\_mc
