# Problem writing a parabola function

hi  
I was writing a parabola function, where you pass the length, the height of the parabola and the x coordinate of a mc as arguments. Then it returns the y value of the mc and the mc moves according to the parabola. But when I test it, the mc goes in a wierd way(goes back and forth)

could someone help me please?
