# Problems installing phpMyAdmin 2.5.6

This problem applies to every d\*mn site on my comuter. So I’m gonna switch back to IIS.

Hi guys

I’m trying to install phpMyAdmin 2.5.6 on my PC with XP Pro, PHP 4.3.4 and Apache 2.0.48.

When I’ve configured all you have to configure (host, username, password, remoteUri) i try to launch index.php via [http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/index.php](http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/index.php). But when I do so, I get the error message “No input file specified.”

Why?

I looked in the documentation, where it said that it’s a permission problem. The solution is to right-click on the phpMyAdmin folder, click on the tab Security and add a user (IUSER\_machine) and set permissions for that user.

But I have no security tab!! What am I going to do?

Please help! It’s rather urgent
