# Problems opening flash documents - please help

Hello

I have a problem opening some flash documents. Some of them open normally, but when trying to open the others it says: “Unexpected file format” or “Failed to open document”. What is really strange is that I even cant open template documents that are build in, due to these reasons. Any idea whats wrong?

I get that problem sometimes, but not with Flash MX 2004.

It occurs when you try to open a “Flash MX 2004” format file using the Flash MX application program 😃
