# Problems with loading external .swf's in Flash 8

I know this is a topic that is discussed a lot here on kirupa but I have searched and I can’t seem to find the answer to my problem. The problem is that I have my site laid out with a resizing frame and inside it I have an empty mc to load my external swf’s. The problem is that when I call my functions to load the different sections the first sections loads fine but the next section doesn’t load … the frame resizes but the swf doesn’t change. both of the swf’s are just test versions (i just want to get the navigation stage to work without a hitch before I start designing the actual content for it). here’s a sample of my functions for loading the external swf’s:
